Rebecca-Lunn

Rebecca Lunn

DipAVN (small animal), DipHE CVN RVN

Operations Co-Ordinator

Rebecca qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2006, having previously worked in a Specialist referral practice as their Surgical Team Leader. During this time, she achieved her HE Diploma in Clinical Veterinary Nursing in conjunction with the RCVS Advanced Diploma. Rebecca specialised her studies in Anaesthesia, Surgical nursing and Theatre practice.

In September 2015 Rebecca made the transition away from nursing into a new challenge as Operations Co-ordinator at Calder Vets. This was a broad role and included monitoring and analysing the current systems of provision to check they were effective, and working out a strategy for improving them if required. Liaising with other team members, and branch surgeries to ensure continuity of patient and staff care.

Rebecca then became heavily involved in the build and the procurement of equipment for Paragon Veterinary Referrals and in February 2018 she became the Operations Co-ordinator for Paragon Veterinary Referrals.

She has a real passion to encourage the development of Veterinary Nurses and ensures they are keeping up to date with new standards and equipment.

Catherine-Cooper

Catherine Cooper

Veterinary Receptionist

Catherine started working at Paragon Veterinary Referrals as an afternoon / evening receptionist as part of the reception team at the end of July 2018. She previously worked at Calder Vets Sandal branch as a receptionist / auxiliary nurse for 6 years before taking a break and then joining the team at Paragon.

Catherine really enjoys the close knit team spirit at Paragon. She finds that everyone is very friendly and helpful and feels its like being part of a family.

In her role Catherine loves to meet and greet the clients and fuss over their pets. She takes great pride in being an advocate for the clients to ensure they are happy and receive great customer service. Additionally she has recently taken on a new role as a credit control assistant, so she now splits her time between the two roles which she really enjoys as this gives her knowledge in other areas of the referral centre as well as learning new skills.

In her spare time, Catherine has recently taken on a new puppy so she is busy running about after him as well as looking after her elderly dog Ollie.  She also loves walking and the outdoors, reading and socialising with friends.

Trina thoroughly enjoys working with all the amazing staff that Paragon have.

Nikki-Clark

Nikki Clark

Receptionist

Nikki is part of our reception team at Paragon and joined in late August 2018. This is her first job within the veterinary sector having previously worked in various sectors including administration and equine.

Whilst living in Ireland, Nikki worked at a riding school and gained her British Horse Society Preliminary Teacher Training (PTT) and qualified to teach horse riding. She also gained distinctions in FETAC courses for Advanced Administration.

Since working at Paragon, Nikki has settled in well to the role and enjoys the every day hustle and bustle of a referral practice.  Her favourite part of the role is spending time with the clients, especially the four legged ones, ensuring that the best care is provided in what can be a very stressful time.

Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time with her son and partner. She also enjoys walking and reading.
