Stock Controller

An opportunity has opened at Paragon for a highly motivated and proactive individual to take responsibility of stock control/management.  Ensuring stock levels are kept to allow smooth running of the centre, and stored, rotated and disposed of in line with current legislation.

Key duties will include

  • To place daily/weekly orders for clinical and non-clinical items using the preferred suppliers, source addition drug/items requested by clinicians and senior staff members
  • Accept and manage order ensuring accurate record keeping and authorising invoices
  • To continually update stock manual and SOP's
  • Perform relevant audits to ensure best practice
  • To organise/manage/conduct quarterly stock takes and report to group procurement department
  • Attend procurement meetings as needed
  • Set up stock control system using PMS
  • Update price list and codes
  • Keep up to date on relevant legislation and training

  • 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday 10.30am - 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break
  • 4 weeks holiday per year
  • Salary dependent upon experience

Expereince of stock control would be highly advantageous in this position although not essential
