Reception Team Leader

A position has opened for a Veterinary Receptionist to join and lead the team at Paragon Veterinary Referrals, Wakefield.  Working an average of 40 hours per week including a 1 : 6 weekend.

This role is for a highly motivated, proactive individual that can problem solve, lead by example, work well under pressure and have passion to provide excellent customer care.

This role is client facing and it is vital that the candidate is friendly, cheerful, approachable and always willing to go the extra mile to provide the highest standard of client care.

Key duties will include but not limited to

  • Ensuring the client journey and experience at Paragon Referrals is outstanding and comforting
  • Managing and organising rota for reception team
  • Lead the team by setting an outstanding example
  • Developing and encourage your team
  • Reception duties including answering phones, booking appointments, completing paperwork
  • Update manuals and SOPs
  • Organise and minute meetings
  • Take an active role in training staff regarding reception and customer care

You will be

·        Well organised, able to multi task and have impeccable time management skills

·        Previously managed a small team

·        Have exceptional client care skills

·        Confident

·        Remain calm, courteous and professional at all times

Previous experience of working within a veterinary reception role is essential.
